📌1960-ականների Պիրենեյներում մի ավանակ մարդկանց արատներն ու դաժանությունը դիտարկող պատմության առանցք է դառնում։ Սկզբում նրան սիրով խնամում են երկու երեխա, սակայն հետո Բալթազարը հայտնվում է տարբեր մարդկանց ձեռքերում՝ բախվելով անտարբերությանն ու բռնությանը։ Միաժամանակ, իր առաջին տիրոջ՝ Մարիի ճակատագիրը գնում է նույնքան ցավալի ճանապարհով։

📌Un âne, dans les Pyrénées des années 1960, est utilisé comme fil conducteur pour observer les travers et la cruauté des hommes. D’abord choyé par deux enfants, Balthazar passe ensuite de main en main, confronté à l’indifférence et la violence. Parallèlement, le destin de Marie, sa première maîtresse, suit un chemin tout aussi douloureux.
🇦🇲🇨🇵L’Ambassade de France / Institut français d’Arménie et Filmadaran poursuivent l’organisation d’un ciné-club français à la Bibliothèque nationale, avec pour cette quatrième année une rétrospective consacrée à Robert Bresson․

📌A donkey, in the Pyrenees of the 1960s, is used as a narrative thread to observe the flaws and cruelty of mankind. First cherished by two children, Balthazar then passes from one owner to another, facing indifference and violence. In parallel, the fate of Marie, his first owner, follows an equally painful path.
🇦🇲🇨🇵For the 4th year in a row, the Embassy of France / French Institute in Armenia and Filmadaran NGO continue their cooperation in implementing the Ciné-club at the National Library of Armenia. This year the film club will feature a retrospective dedicated to Robert Bresson․
